Track Yearly Goals With Vision Boards

The past year has been full of unexpected challenges for everyone, which has led to mental, physical and emotional fatigue.  The balance of managing professional and personal responsibilities has been weighing heavily on leaders and direct reports alike.  These concerns should not be ignored, but it is also important to address them with positivity.

One approach is creating a vision board. Vision boards can be used as a tool with individual direct reports or as a team activity.  Taking time to envision what your goals are and what you want your life to look like a year from now helps shift perspective from this period of chaos and uncertainty.  You can then use the vision boards as a jumping off point to discuss what actions you and your direct reports are taking now to move towards your goals a year from now.
